Employees Must Wash Their Hands Before Returning to Work

I’m an old man with a shy bladder. I work a day job. I have to pee frequently. The soap at work is not kind to my hands. Maybe I shouldn’t use the air dryer for my hands. So I sent a text to my wife, Alice.

Me: I need a hand lotion for work.

Alice: Use our cream.

Me: Which one?

Alice: For the heel. You can use on your hand.

Me: OK.

Later…

Me: Hands feel a little better now.

Indeed. The effects were almost immediate. My hands were chapped from the mineral water in the bathrooms at work. Salt Lake is a mining town and the water is hard. At home, I have a water softener. At work I’m not so lucky.

It’s early days yet, but I feel positive about using what feels like a hard wax for my hands. It’s hard at first, then it softens to the point where it spreads easily.

I had only been using TranLan on my cuticles, not the rest of my hands. I used my index fingers to apply TranLan to my heels for years. Now I see that I can use TranLan to help with very dry hands. All over.
